Alarm tape on barred windows? Say it isn't so bad ...

It's not that bad. Both bars and alarm tape are legacies from previous tenants. FedEx left my Cistom Shop Tele on the front stoop for six hours back in 2001. I wouldn't recommend it, but the guitar was unmolested.
JA suggests that the guitar was left alone because neighborhhod pickers simply assumed it was a cheap Mexican Fender. Or it could be that I live in the Brooklyn version of Mayberry.

The windows on this house had bars when we moved in, decade and a half ago. I removed them, over the years. Paranoia comes cheap. Iron bars do not a nice view make ;) Are hard to remove :)
