Chris Anderson argues that niche markets are the new blockbuster—except that we don't have blockbusters any more.
Audiophiles are a good example of this. The actual number of LPs sold is quite small (compared to Brittny-sized sales figures), but record junkies are passionate and buy out of all proportion to their numbers.
