Which Theory Is Correct?

Prevailing wisdom held that either the Sun was just like the planets in terms of oxygen composition or that it was rich in the isotope oxygen-16. Now research on Lunar dust indicates both theories are wrong.

Okay, I love it when we find out we don't know everything after all, but obviously some folks are perturbed by this: "'This was a completely unexpected result for us,' Dr Ireland said. 'Our Sun is not the Sun that we thought it was.'"
